Mrs. Davis - K-2 / Principal
Teaching is not just a job for me; it is my passion. I have been teaching for over 25 years, (9 of them at MAPS) from Kindergarten to Junior High. I have also served 3 years as a principal. From teaching overseas to creating outdoor education programs, my goal as a teacher is to instill in my students a desire for learning, build strong readers, create a love for nature, and help them connect to God.
I earned my Bachelors in Elementary Education from Union College. I have a passion for connecting kids to nature and just recently graduated from Southern Adventist University with my Masters of Science in Education with an Outdoor Teaching Education emphasis.
I am married to Pastor Randy Davis and I love spending time with my family. I have 4 young adult children, 1 daughter in law, and a beautiful granddaughter. I love to travel, explore nature, hike, bike, and read.
I am excited to serve as Principal for MAPS. I am amazed how God is blessing our school with the opportunity to build a brand new facility. I look forward to partnering with you to continue to offer a quality academic program, while at the same time connecting kids to nature and helping them develop a relationship with Jesus. I love working in Christian education and having the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of my students, not only in this life, but in the life to come.
